Snowmobile safety classes scheduled

The Kettle Range Snow Riders is sponsoring a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources-approved Snowmobile Safety Class from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 6 and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Nov. 8.

The class will be held at the Two Rivers Recreation Department, 1520 17th St. Anyone born after Jan. 1, 1985, must have a safety certificate to operate a snowmobile on public trails or land. Individuals must be at least 111/2 years old at the time of the class.

To register, call the recreation department at (920) 793-5592. Individuals must obtain a Wisconsin DNR customer ID number before class completion, obtainable by calling the DNR customer service from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at (888) 936-7463 or by visiting a DNR service center.
